My Journey into Photography

It all started with a simple need. A friend required a photographer for an event, and there I was, clueless about anything beyond hitting the shutter button. Yet, something sparked within me. Enter a kind-hearted videographer who, in just one hour, opened the door to a whole new world. He unraveled the mysteries of the exposure triangle, the magic of colors, and the art of composition. Armed with a borrowed Canon 70D, I was ready to tackle my very first wedding!

That experience ignited a fire within me. I knew I wanted to learn more, but my resources were limited. A fancy camera was out of reach, so I began my journey with a basic entry-level model. This became my training ground where I experimented with ISO, aperture, shutter speed, colors, focal lengths, and compositions, learning how to adjust them for different situations. I immersed myself in event photography, attending functions and capturing moments.

The journey wasn't always smooth, but the support of friends kept me motivated. I dreamt of owning a professional camera, and with the help of my IT job, I made it happen. After a year of saving and careful planning, I purchased my dream camera, along with lenses and accessories.

For the past two years, I have dedicated myself to taking photography seriously. Seeking guidance from friends, building an Instagram gallery, and practicing relentlessly, my passion has blossomed into a part-time business.

Looking back, I'm filled with gratitude for the unexpected opportunity that launched me on this incredible journey. From that initial click to capturing precious moments, photography has become more than just a hobby; it's a creative outlet, a source of joy, and a way to connect with people.

And this is just the beginning. I'm excited to continue learning, exploring, and sharing my passion with the world.
